There are more than 80 types of sleep disorders, including sleep apnea, insomnia and restless legs syndrome. We understand that these conditions can significantly affect healthy sleep–and this, in turn, impacts your overall health, safety and quality of life.
The Sleep Center at Lea Regional Medical Center performs sleep studies on children, starting at age 12, through adults. Sleep Studies at the Sleep Center take place in comfortable, home-like rooms.
Our sleep lab features two comfortable private rooms where technicians are able to closely monitor your breathing, heart and lung activity, and brain function while you’re at rest. Results of sleep studies are often available in two to three days so that potentially dangerous issues like sleep apnea can be diagnosed and treated as quickly as possible.
