The Lea Regional Volunteers are an essential part of the hospital's commitment to quality patient care. Volunteers enhance our quality of care in numerous ways, whether it by greeting patients or offering a newspaper or beverage. They generously give their time, talents, and their hearts.
Why Volunteer?
By joining the Lea Regional team of volunteers, you will become part of a diverse group of individuals who give their time and efforts to help improve patient care. Joining us in our commitment of providing southeastern New Mexico and west Texas with quality healthcare enables you to meet personal goals while working with a team of dedicated volunteers and staff. By volunteering, you can meet new friends while serving your community. Volunteers provide the extra special touch that means so much to our patients and their families. Each quarter volunteers can earn awards for the number of hours worked.
Volunteer donations.
The volunteers raise funds through the gift shop and hospital vending sales. The funds that are raised go to nursing scholarships and to support other non-profit charities in our community.

What you do as a volunteer:
There are multiple fun and rewarding tasks you can do as a hospital volunteer. You may be asked to help with a certain committee or you may have a choice. Click below for more information about the different committees that you can help with.
