Surgery

Lea Regional Medical Center's Surgical Department is devoted to the care of patients requiring a variety of surgical procedures including but not limited to: Advanced orthopedics (including total joint replacements and trauma), general surgical procedures such as, laparoscopy and trauma, ear nose and throat, eye, urology, gynecology, and obstetrics.

The members of the surgical team work to maintain The Join Commission's Patient Safety Standards, as well as national standards governing practice in the Surgical Suite, as well as the Post Anesthesia Care Unit.
