Adult Mental Health
Lea Regional Medical Center's approach to mental health care involves a team of professionals who provide a structured environment and therapeutic program. The patient becomes a part of a team, which includes a psychiatrist, medical physician, registered nurses, licensed practical nurse, mental health counselor, recreational therapist, social worker, and mental health technicians/aides. All treatment goals, strategies, problems and progress are discussed and assessed by the professional team members on a regular basis and shared with the patient.
