Description:	A clinically competent Emergency Medical Technician – Intermediate or Paramedic who delivers care to the patient through the process of assessment with training, planning, intervention and evaluation. Assists in providing patient care appropriate for all age groups seen in the ER, including infant, toddler, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric under the direct supervision of an R.N. and/or physician.

Requirements:	Must hold a current license to practice as an Emergency Medical Technician – Intermediate or Paramedic in the State of New Mexico. Knowledge of accepted medical standards and practice. Knowledge of basic pharmacology. Preferred: At least one year Emergency Medical Services experience.
