CEO Timothy N. Thornell, FACHE, CMPE

Tim Thornell joined Lea Regional Medical Center in August 2011.  He came to Hobbs from MountainView Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM where he served as Chief Operating Officer and previously from Yakima, Washington, where he also served as Chief Operating Officer.

In addition to his experience in hospital administration, Tim brings a number of years in experience in managing physician practices, as well as having been the HMA Divisional Physician Practice Manager for the Western division, and the Administrator for the Central Washington Medical group.  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology and a Bachelor of Arts degree in French from the University of California, Davis.  He also holds a Master's of Health Administration from the University of Southern California.

Tim is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
